The programme is built for drivers who already hold a licence and want measurable pace. Each step leaves a written record you keep: ratings, plans, telemetry traces and next targets.
Session 01 · 90 minutes
A baseline run with telemetry logging, followed by eight scored competencies. You take the raw traces and the ratings home the same day, so the starting point is a number and not a feeling.
Session 02 · between 01 and 03
Your instructor writes the plan with you: target apex speeds corner by corner, braking references in metres, the order of the practice exercises and how many repetitions each drill needs before it counts.
Sessions 03 and 04 · 60 minutes each
Two coached blocks on the drills selected in the plan. Feedback arrives on the move through pace notes, then the trace is replayed afterwards so a correction lands on one specific corner instead of a general impression.
Session 05 · 60 minutes
The baseline run is repeated in identical conditions. Session 01 and Session 05 sit in two columns with the difference beside them, and the next set of targets comes from whatever still moves.
Sessions develop driver skill only. No official licensing, certification or government approval is issued. Results vary by driver, vehicle and conditions.
Every driver starts with a 90-minute baseline. You drive three timed loops on your own tyres while an instructor records eight competencies lap by lap. No marks for style, only for inputs we can measure and repeat.
The 90-minute baseline runs before any coaching hour. Each competency is rated 1 to 5 against a reference lap driven by the same instructor on the same tyre, so the numbers are comparable between sessions rather than between drivers.
| Competency | Baseline | Target | Shift |
|---|---|---|---|
| Braking point | 2 | 4 | +2 |
| Apex speed | 3 | 5 | +2 |
| Exit speed | 3 | 5 | +2 |
| Steering corrections | 2 | 4 | +2 |
| Vision lead | 3 | 5 | +2 |
| Throttle application | 2 | 4 | +2 |
| Gear selection timing | 3 | 4 | +1 |
| Lap-to-lap consistency | 2 | 5 | +3 |
Targets are agreed with you at the debrief table and revised after every fourth session. We score experienced drivers only; we do not issue licences or government certification. Book a baseline and we send the scoring sheet before you arrive.
Every exercise enters your plan with a repetition count and one number it has to move. If a drill stops moving its number, it leaves the plan.

Figures are read from your own session logs on a 2.4 km handling circuit, not from a test rig. Practice sets are reviewed in the method FAQ.
Eligibility, licensing, venues, session length and what the telemetry actually shows.
Sessions are built for drivers who already hold a full licence and have spent at least two years driving regularly. We do not run beginner lessons or licence preparation. If you are comfortable on a motorway and want to sharpen braking points and apex speed, you are the right fit.
No. We provide no official licensing and no government certification. PaceNote is a private coaching programme. Your written plan, assessment scores and session notes are yours to keep, and they carry no legal standing for insurance or licence purposes.
At closed venues in and around Kyiv: a handling circuit for line and apex work, plus a separate braking pad with a low-friction surface for threshold drills. Both are off public roads, so emergency-braking repetitions are repeatable. The exact venue is confirmed when your slot is booked.
A single session is 90 minutes of wheel time, split into three 25-minute blocks with a short debrief between each block. Structured programmes run four sessions across six to eight weeks, with the same instructor throughout so progress is measured against your own baseline rather than a group average.
Individual results vary. Gains depend on your starting baseline, the car you bring, tyre condition and how consistently you practise the drills between sessions. Expect two to four seconds a lap over a full programme on the handling circuit, with the largest share coming from braking consistency rather than corner entry speed.
